Create an article from a brief

Before you start

Create a project and check your available writing credits.

Plan and generate

1. Open Articles and start a new article.
2. Choose Project, Article length, and an optional Content topic.
3. Enter your direction under What do you want to write?, or let AI decide from the project context.
4. Open Advanced settings to review Writing style, Language, and AI mode.
5. Select Generate brief.
6. Review the Title, Angle, audience, and Article outline. Edit section headings and coverage, drag sections to reorder them, or select Add section.
7. Select Generate article when the plan is ready.

Expected result

WordHero writes the article and opens its editable content when generation completes. You can find the work again in Articles.

Troubleshooting

Regenerate outline replaces your outline edits and uses generation credits. Older articles may show an earlier brief format. If generation pauses, reopen the existing article and use its retry control rather than creating a duplicate.
