Edit and export an article

Revise a completed article and download Markdown or DOCX.

Before you start

Open a completed article that you have permission to edit.

Revise the draft

  1. Open Articles and choose the article.
  2. Edit the title and body. Watch the status change from Saving… to Saved.
  3. To request an AI revision, select text first and choose an available editing action.
  4. Review the proposal before selecting Accept. Use Reject to discard it or Regenerate for another proposal.
  5. For a conversational revision, select text and choose Ask WordHero.

Export your work

Use Markdown or DOCX in the article workspace. From the Articles list, a completed article's menu also offers Copy to clipboard, Export as Markdown, and Export as DOCX.

Expected result

Your article remains available in WordHero, and the exported file downloads to your device.

Troubleshooting

If you see Save failed, keep the page open and copy your latest text before reloading. If the selected text changes while an AI revision is being prepared, select the current text and run the edit again. Export options in the list require a completed article.
