Before you start
Select the correct Flow project. You need a WordPress account allowed to create posts and application passwords. Keep the generated password private.
Connect using an application password
- Open WordPress admin and go to Users → Profile.
- Under Application Passwords, create a password named Flow and copy it.
- In Flow, open Publishing and select Connect.
- In Connect WordPress, choose Application password if a method selector is shown.
- Enter Site URL, WordPress username, and the generated application password. Submit the connection.
- Confirm the website shows Connected.
Review publishing behavior
Check Auto-publish to WordPress, WordPress post status, the schedule, Default category, and Create missing tags. Connection and publishing settings determine what happens to due articles; review them before relying on automation.
Troubleshooting
If the status is Connection failed, check the website URL, username, and application password, then use Reconnect. Use the application password rather than your normal WordPress login password. If WordPress has no application-password option, ask its administrator to check account permissions and site configuration.
