Set up your website and generate your first article

Create a website project, add an article to its calendar, and generate a draft.

Before you start

Sign in to Flow with an active plan and available capacity. Have your website URL and a topic ready. You can prepare an article without connecting WordPress.

Set up the project

  1. Select Add website from the project selector, or New Project if this is your first project.
  2. Enter Website URL and select Scan, or choose Fill in manually.
  3. Review the project details, brand voice, audience, language, country, and Timezone.
  4. Select Create project. The setup opens Publishing, where you can review connection settings.

Generate a draft

  1. Select the project and open Calendar.
  2. Use Add to Calendar for the date you want.
  3. Choose Custom brief, describe the article, and select Add to calendar. Review any extra-slot credit charge shown before adding it.
  4. Open the scheduled item and review its Title. Select Generate article now.
  5. When generation finishes, open the article to review and edit it.

Expected result and troubleshooting

The draft is available through the calendar item and Articles. If generation fails, check the existing item before scheduling another. If WordPress is connected, check Auto-publish to WordPress so you know whether due articles will be sent automatically.
