To create a cover, open a standard book's three-dot menu in Books and select Generate cover. Review the style and instructions, then generate the image. The first eligible cover may be included with generation; the dialog shows any charge before a later generation.
Once a cover exists, use Download cover from the same menu to save it separately. Whether the cover appears inside exports is controlled under Defaults → Export covers and the book's formatting settings.
Eligible plans can add illustrations to supported books. Open the book editor and use the illustration control when it appears. Illustration availability depends on the book type, plan, and whether the book already has an illustration set.
